Abstract
The purpose – to identify priority pharmacovigilance issues to ensure patient safety and a safe hospital environment based on an analysis of scientific literature sources and public databases.

A set of measures aimed at reducing the frequency of medical errors, adverse reactions developing, and preventing the cases of medicines inefficiency and, as a result, improving the safety of the hospital environment has been

The problem of the safety of the hospital environment is urgent for all countries and all health systems, and ensuring the safe use of medicines is one of its most important components. Adverse reactions, errors, and cases of drug inefficiency that occur when using drugs are an important components of the
drugs danger. The pharmacovigilance system plays an important role in ensuring the safety of the patient by reducing risks of side effects and errors in the use of drugs, preventing the inefficiency of drug therapy, and can optimize the costs of the health system. The development of new and improvement of existing approaches to the prevention of the adverse consequences of drug therapy are extremely relevant and necessary for modern medicine. These measures on a global scale will save millions of lives and material resources.
